About IPEd

The Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd, formerly the Council of Australian Societies of Editors or CASE) is a body of delegates from the Australian societies of editors, which coordinates national activities. IPEd has recently attained incorporation as a national organisation and is in the process of setting up a scheme for granting accreditation to competent editors.

The IPEd website carries news of activities in areas such as accreditation, standards, and promotion of the editing profession.

IPEd reports regularly through IPEd Notes, which appear on its website and in the newsletters of the societies.

The IPEd delegate for Victoria is Rosemary Noble.
